VUM's sophomore album, Night Sun, is VUM's second cassette release with Living Tapes and boy oh boy is it a doozy. Night Sun was recorded in VUM's home studio in Topanga Canyon, housed within the same walls where Neil Young's After the Goldrush was made, with other tracks recorded in a field on the island of Mo'orea, French Polynesia. This release shows a lot of growth from their first release ''Strange Attractor'' by adding a more trance inducing psychedelic vibe, drawing you in with haunting vocals and a mellow tribal sound. This release will be getting a vinyl treatment November 5th on Secret Lodge(thier own label). SIDE NOTE: i was at this beautiful couples wedding.
